are some examples of Horse Racing Online
Gambling Bets:
The Daily Double: Before the 1st race starts you choose who you think will
be the winner of the first 2 races. Example $50
daily double on 4 and 6 means you are betting
$50 that horse #4 will win Race 1 and horse #6
will will Race 2.
Quiniela: This is a bet that
can be made on any race. You have to choose the
first 2 places in the race. Example $10 Quinella
6 and 7 on Race #4. If horses 6 and 7 finish in
the first 2 places in any order you win.
Quiniela Box: With this bet you
are again choosing the first 2 places in any race
but from a choice of 3 or more horses. Example
a $4 Quinella Box Race #5 on horses 2, 4, &
9. This bet will cost $12 as it is really 3 separate
bets. You will win if the first 2 places go to
2-4, 2-9, 4-2, 9-2, 4-9 or 9-4.
Perfecta: Same as Quinella except
you must choose the horses to win in exact order.
Straight
Trifecta: this is where you choose the
first 3 places in exact order to win.
$1 Trifecta Box: this is where you choose the first 3 places
but in any order.
$1 Trifecta Key: this is where
you must choose the winner and then 2 other
horses to finish in any order in 2nd and 3rd
place.
Different countries and different race tracks
may have different rules, use different terms
